ARRIVE IN MALE

DAY 1-3

Meet your new lifelong ocean besties and set intentions with a vision-boarding session to capture what this trip means to you. Dust off the jet lag with your first ocean adventures: a Nurse Shark & Stingray excursion, swimming among a natural underwater aquarium.

MANTA MADNESS IN MAAHLOS

DAY 3-7

Next, we’ll island-hop north to Baa Atoll. Experience the manta madness of UNESCO-listed Hanifaru Bay, where hundreds of manta rays and sometimes whale sharks gather. Timed with the new moon for peak encounters. Explore turtle and coral gardens, ideal for freediving (scuba available). Develop photography fundamentals with guidance from your hosts —all while soaking up island life on white-sand beaches, under palms, and at sunset on a private sandbank.

SHARK HEAVEN IN FUVAHMULAH

DAY 7 – 11

Fly to the Deep South, to the island of Fuvahmulah, home of tiger sharks. Enjoy twice-daily visits to Tiger Harbour – twice the number of most operators. We will also venture offshore for the chance to meet open ocean travellers like oceanic whitetip and silky sharks. We will put creative portraiture into practise with a pool shoot with silks. Throughout enjoy exclusive accommodations, a private chef, and marine expert presentations.

FAREWELL FROM MALE

DAY 11

Reflect on the memories, skills, and confidence you’ve gained, and the ocean community you’ll carry with you long after the journey ends.

YOUR HOSTS
MIESA + CAITLIN

Caitlin and Miesa have built a shared path in the ocean — working independently as freelance Ocean, Destination, and Lifestyle Photographers, with backgrounds in marine tourism as scuba diving instructors and marine guides. Their combined experience is rooted in helping people experience the ocean in a truly immersive way, while creating imagery that reflects not just what was seen, but how it felt to be there.

Together, they are proud to host this all female group expedition in the heart of the Indian Ocean. This is more than a trip; it’s a shared ocean experience — intentional, immersive, and deeply connected — and you are part of something meaningful with Oceankind.
